24 Hour Read-A-Thon Post 5 mid event challenge

Saturday, April 10, 2010

We took a break to walk to French Quarter Fest which isn't very far from our house, the little one had to get out now I am going to read him as many books as he wants for bedtime then go back to finishing Club Dead.

Mid-Event Survey:
1. What are you reading right now? Nothing I have to take a break to give the little one a bath but soon I will be reading Club Dead again
2. How many books have you read so far? 7
3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon? I am looking forward to reading a lot of books to my son at bedtime and finishing Club Dead
4. Did you have to make any special arrangements to free up your whole day? No, I wish I could have, maybe next time
5. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those? Yes, lots. It's just me and my 3 year old today but we got lots of new kids books and I read to him whenever he needed attention.
6. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far? How fast it seems to go once you get started
7. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year? not yet
8. What would you do differently, as a Reader or a Cheerleader, if you were to do this again next year? I really want to get a babysitter or at least have my husband home all day so I can read as much as possible without interruptions.
9. Are you getting tired yet? Nope
10. Do you have any tips for other Readers or Cheerleaders, something you think is working well for you that others may not have discovered? love, love, love tweetgrid which lets me keep track of all the #readathon tweets
